Cathay Restaurants - Nepean

Not what it was. Perhaps Cathay is under new management. I've been a customer for 20 years, but as of Spring 2023 or so, it's changed completely. Portions are down about 30%, prices are up and flavor is gone. I gave them a second chance and ordered again with the same disappointing result. They're now below average and there are better options in the area. We're not going back.

I got egg rolls and shanghai fried noodle with gen tso chicken. I ended up ordering the egg rolls after, I wasn't planning on ordering it before, but I'm glad I did, it was pretty good and will order it again.

I love their open ended egg rolls! They're my absolute favourite, and I would definitely recommend. Not only are the egg rolls crispy and bursting with flavour, but the service is really good too the people running the restaurant are very nice to their customers.

Ordered the gentso chicken with shanghai fried noodles—tasted great! Egg rolls were awesome too. Great service, will definitely be returning. Would recommend to others.
