Dairy Queen (treat) - Nelson

If you’re in Nelson and you like DQ ice cream you have to stop here (it’s only open in the armed months)! It’s vintage, walk-up only and sells only ice cream. No burgers or fries, etc. my husband remembers going here as a kid growing up in Nelson.

Uzually there's quite a line-up but not today. There was only 2 people in front of me. I got my banana split exactly the way I like it pretty quickly. It was awesome as usual! Quick update... I was there again recently they have an Apple Pie Blizzard that is so very delicious, I am definitely going again asap as many more times as I can before they shut down for winter!

Friendly service. There can be long lines but it's the only DQ with in 40 km of Nelson so one might expect that. This location ice cream and other cold treats. No burgers, fries and such.

Dq here is best I can guarantee. I tried several Dq store in Canada But here gives a lot more jelly and chocolate and ice cream which makes flavor much better.

Old historic DQ in the most beautiful town Nelson BC. Walk ups only, parking lot adjacent. Eat on the grass. Misters at the ordering/pickup windows make the wait cool on hot days.
