Beautiful and cozy place to eat next to the harbour in nelson. delicious seafood plate. fair prices. try the crispy boar bell at a next visit.

Delicious meal and top notch service. The best calamari I've ever had. Definitely at the top of my list for whenever I'm back in Nelson.

We read the reviews and decided to head over and try it ourselves. Service was slick and friendly. The starter seafood chowder was delicious and served nicely with a slice of lemon and a cute restaurant baked bread roll. The pork belly was wonderful and the mustard mash and vegetables was plentiful. Finished with a Creme brûlée, once again lovely presentation and taste was star 5 Look forward to trying other parts of the menu. Other diners looked to have other good choices.

5 stars all round: Food, atmosphere, service, views... New to Nelson, my husband I booked a table for lunch; a belated quiet celebration for his birthday. We were seated at what felt like the best table of the house: next to the fireplace with great views of the waterfront. The service was friendly attentive, the food was delicious very well presented. Birthday boy had the special of the day: Pork ribs with chips salad The meat had a great basting just fell off the bone. And I had the Fish plate just amazing! We washed down lunch with a great beer each, finished the meal off by sharing a Chocolate Mousse dessert. Thank you The Styx, we will see you again soon!

What a beautiful evening to dine outside at The Styx. Friendly staff. Fast service. Very yummy food. We will be back.
