Bidrage med feedbackThe interior of the restaurant provided me a little when I entered, but we took the risk and sit in the second floor and ordered 6 dishes. if they are not familiar with the Cantonese cuisine, they tell the waitress that they want to try anthemic Cantonese food. do not order fried dumplings or anything they think is good. advise the waitress and communicate them as much as possible. order something they would not normally order. our adventurous with our order has proved to be an extremely good one. it was one of the best Chinese Cantonese cuisine I've ever tasted at nz.
A wonderful way to save money. the sweet and sour pork was also available with a native kiwi lemon chicken option for its be faithful. rice, two meats and a full bauch for $8.
Not a very comfortable experience. Went in and enquired about the menus on the window. The lady explained the menu and prices. We asked if we can dine upstairs in the restaurant. We went upstairs... the lights went on. At the top of the stairs were stacked some tables and chairs... not a good sight, but nothing to complain about. We sat down, got menus to look at. We were the only ones there on a Wednesday evening, about 6pm. We started to notice the dirty floor, dirty bowls etc on the table etc. Nice enough lady, but did not feel comfortable about ordering and eating in this restaurant.
Unedible food. Buffet tasted like it'd been out there for several weeks, some dishes were oversalted and others (like the spring rolls) were just plain old and dry. My friend had noodles from the menu which were barely cooked and covered in a slimy yucky sauce. Kitchen could be viewed from toilet area and looked very unclean and frankly disgusting. As icing on the cake I found long black hair in my food.
I'll never forget the day my friend had vial food poisoning here not long after we ate, we were on our way back through the alley to get home and he ended up throwing up everywhere, the staff were very apologetic and brought out cups of hot water, (no idea why anyone would want hot water when they're throwing up) I've never eaten here since over 10 years later
