Sweet As Cafe - Nelson

Fantastic breakfast and welcoming staff! It's refreshing to find a café that offers a smaller breakfast option instead of the usual oversized plates. The small breakfast was delightful—just the perfect portion for smaller appetites. The poached egg was cooked to perfection. My partner enjoyed the corn fritter immensely. We didn't try the coffee, so I can't provide feedback on that, but the selection looked impressive!

Nice little café! The staff provided excellent service. The food was good as well; I tried the specialty chocolate, and it melted in my mouth—absolutely delightful. The coffee was a bit on the watery side, but overall, it's a fantastic spot to visit when you're in Nelson!

This cozy spot boasts friendly staff and serves up lunch as well as delightful sweet treats, including luxurious chocolates and macarons. I tried a green tea macaron, and while I'm not certain if they're made in-house, it rivaled my favorites from Melbourne. The shell was light and crunchy, not overly sweet, and perfectly infused with green tea flavor.

Seems like family owned business with everyone pitching in to provide delicious choice of food, great coffee and excellent service. Had brunch in morning and returned for afternoon tea to find they had just closed. But staff were still inside and served us coffee and pastries excellent!

My scrambled eggs were pretty average but the ginger crunch slice was one of the best I've ever had and the coffee was strong and good. Nice atmosphere too.
