Bidrage med feedbackNice meal with gorgeous views. Salad fresh, warm rolls to start. Meals (steak and shrimp) were both very good. Gdeen beans perfectly done. OF at the bar was good too!
Came for dinner on a Friday with 2 friends. One had the strip steak, another had the chicken breast florentine and I had the boneless center cut pork chop. All entrees were cooked superbly. The after dinner white russian drink with salted caramel wasexcellent. An excellent view overlooking Petenwell Lake was phenomenal. A fine dining experience with great ambience. Willdefinitely be back.
The entrees include a choice of soup or salad, a selection of potatoes (the twice-baked potato was heavenly), and a few pieces of steamed broccoli. Our meal was well executed from start to finish. If I had to be picky, one of our steaks was more of a medium than medium-rare, but it was still delicious and tender. The appetizers were tasty, the steaks packed with flavor, and the lobster was sweet. For dessert, we had a choice between salted caramel cheesecake on a pretzel crust and apple strudel, both of which were delightful finishes to our meal. Overall, the dining experience was excellent, with generous portion sizes. While it's a bit on the pricier side, it's definitely worth it! The Dirty Oar will certainly be one of our go-to spots in the area for dining out!
We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The service was outstanding, and the food was precisely what we ordered and desired. The dessert was also perfect. The level of service met our expectations for this price range. Our drinks were made to our taste preferences as well. We will definitely return for future dinners!
We drove over an hour to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday, and overall, it was a nice experience. The atmosphere was cozy, the old fashioneds were excellent, and the salads were fresh. I ordered the pine nut-encrusted, pan-fried walleye with mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, the fish was overly coated and deep-fried, and the mashed potatoes turned out to be sweet potatoes instead. While some others in our group enjoyed the shrimp-stuffed salmon and lobster risotto, I was quite disappointed with the walleye.
