Pizza Garden - Nehalem

You have a dedicated vegan pizza on the menu and I was really excited to try it. It is just crust, pine nuts, garlic pieces and a few spinach pieces. So dry, as bad as pizza. We were sooooo disappointed, we brought it home and added the sauce/toppings to the rest. Other people have tested it well, so maybe one day I will go back, NOT order the vegan pizza, but order a vegan cheese. Then I can update my review. I just feel demolished.

Service was good, but the food wasn't really worth it... Sparse Toppings did not inspire.

The pizza garden is located directly on the banks of the Nehalem River! A great place. You have good beer on tap, a flawless café, a clever theme (w LIZARDS on the wall, sperm sweat and so on), and a great staff. They really host substitutions and twist the menu around. The vegan pizza was perfect for the time. Yes, it is bought cheese. It has a time and a place. The time is when you are on the coast w slim pickin 's and this is the place. You're doing fine. They also have a Kronos, which is overall cheeseless and vegan. It's on the east side of 101. Watch the next time and enjoy!

I have eaten twice in the pizza garden and enjoy it very much! It is great to have very good vegan pizza in a small coastal town. My husband and I had two different vegan soups, including minestrone, which is always vegan. The garden salad is magical, organically mixed green. There are pasta and sandwich options, but we always keep with the salad, soup, and build-your-own vegan, gluten-free pizza, with vegan 'cheese '. The service is friendly but definitely at a moderate pace. But that's okay, because you don't care how you just go back and enjoy. They have vegan and gluten-free beers as well as the usual soft drinks. Super clean bathroom also.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The food is consistently delicious every time we dine there. Jeannie, the hostess, always greets us warmly and makes us feel like part of the family. We are looking forward to having our wedding reception there in April 2016.
