Les gourmandises - Nègrepelisse

Difficult to find restaurants in this region. So we end at this restaurant, part of an hotel. We ordered the menu which showed to be more than good. This would have granted at least 4 stars, but unfortunately the place is very, very basic; fast food like.

This is a restaurant on the road to Montauban. Its a good place to stop for a generous, affordable lunch. I've not been for dinner but I have stopped a number of times on my way back from a shopping trip and always enjoyed the lunch. On the daily menu there are always at least two main course choices along with both a "Starter Buffet" and a "Dessert Buffet." If you are hungry this is the place to visit.

This is a great restaurant to visit for a wonderfully generous lunch with lots of variety and great taste. Its got a super buffet starter and desert counter where you can eat to your heart's content. There are normally two selections on the "menu de jour" along with the buffet and desert offerings. I stop by often for lunch. I have not eaten there in the evening but I imagine it is every bit as tasty as lunch.

This restaurant is situated on the edge of Negreplecisse on the road to Montauban. It is informal, friendly and amazingly great value for a perfect lunch time break. I have not eaten there in the evening but if lunch is anything to go by then give it a go. There is a buffet with a wide variety of tasty starters, followed by a choice of main course and finish off with another dessert buffet offering everything from creme brule, to black forest cake, a cheese tray and ice-cream. Again, its eat as much as you want. Oh....and wine is included. All for less than 15 euros. They have a small hotel attached which I have not stayed at but it looks charming and the owners are friendly, welcoming and first rate professionals.

This is possibly some of the best value food you will find. The quality of the pizzas is excellent with full and fresh toppings. The menu is good simple food with a good range of pizzas and savoury and sweet crepes, always freshly cooked to order with friendly service and incredible value. We have visited for lunch for many of the last 7 years that we have visited the area and have even made detours of some miles to eat here. Love it.
