Rose Valley Lodge & Restaurant

We had the most wonderful Beef tenderloin dinner. The pasta dish was delicious as was the whole meal. Great cozy cabin with the wood stove. Nice and warm especially with the cold weather outside. Marcus and Deb are awesome hosts. They made us feel right...at home. The animals were a special touch. Charlie kept my feet warm during breakfast. Looking forward to our next stay at Rose Valley. Thanks for a lovely getaway.

Our anniversary dinner was perfect. Braised beef ribs was the menu we chose when booking. Food was excellent, boiled cucumber is the nicest thing. Deb and Markus are the dream team that produces the greatest pasta I've ever tasted.

Amazing disappearance and a much needed distraction. Food was 100% would highly recommend! The animals were an extra treat! We will be back for sure!

We went to Rose Valley for Thanksgiving and had a fantastic experience. The five-course meal was outstanding, the atmosphere was cozy, and the service was very friendly. The wine list was extensive, offering options by the glass, carafe, or bottle. We arrived an hour early and took a short hike around the area, even visiting a unique collection of farm animals. We are already considering making this a yearly tradition.

I had the best accommodation experience ever. It was a romantic and magical night. The cabins were very cozy, and the break from technology was a refreshing way to unwind during the holiday season. The wood stove and jacuzzi were excellent additions for the winter months. The owners were extremely welcoming, and the five-course meal was absolutely delicious and unlike anything else in Thunder Bay. I will definitely return!
