Steve's Fine Wine and Food - Nedlands

This place always seems packed when we drive by, and heard they do great lunches. However 6 of us,very excited and hungry opted for a Sunday breakfast for 10am. I was surprised how quiet it was, only about 3 tables and two arrived after us .Coffee and juice was enjoyable, and then it went down hill. Service was not overly friendly, and the menu was very small and basic. Our wait time was a joke, Two tables arrived after us and both were served before us. I asked for wholemeal toast and got white sourdough, no butter and extremely hard to cut let alone eat, the bacon on one dish was forgotten about, and when it arrived it was completely over cooked and just yuk ! The eggs Benedict with ham was enjoyed , but besides that very average. We all left dissatisfied.

I have been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wine options are huge and really good. Food on the other hand is pretty average. As the ambience is good, i wont mind going again.

The steaks are still amazing, but they've changed the look of the dishes since the first time we were here.
