Bidrage med feedbackLocation Located in the heart of Naumburg, on the historic market square, in front of its magnificent civic houses and overlooking the St. Wenzel city church. Surroundings The building dates back to the Middle Ages and was restored in an elaborate way. Today it has the special charm of a historic only monument. She has her name from the partnership-city connection between Naumburg and Aachen. Right in the house is Carlolus Magnus. With 35 seats you can see the marketplace directly through the food through two large terrace windows. The cross vault was framed red, green and now emphasizes the curvatures of the ceiling. Sheets hang on all walls to decorate. The black chairs are stiff and yet noble. The tables are covered with a white tablecloth, a vase with flower, brown candle and pepper and salt shaker. Black candlesticks hang from the ceiling and the floor with black and white tiles strengthens the very beautiful colour matching ambience. In addition, in the back part of the restaurant there is also the romantic space for groups and societies for 35 people and the historic Ottonenkeller from the 14th century. Century. Century with 55 seats. Service Two different young operators took on the one hand skillful and trained and on the other hand unprofessional the service. Beverages were run through at the table, for example. Food The menu is very manageable. Commandments are typical regional dishes. We took the Rumpsteak medium with herbal butter, fries and salad (14,90€). The plate was served hot. The Rumpsteak was boiled to the point, tender and the herbal butter lay on a lemon slice and could therefore be well portioned. We were also satisfied with the vegetarian dish, the Spätzle Garnison with vegetables and fresh mushrooms (8.50€). Here too the plate was hot, the vegetables, broccoli, cauliflowers, carots, peas and cocktail tomatoes baked with a light cheese sauce. Conclusion: Edles ambience in a medieval beautifully renovated building with excellent food
