Succotash - National Harbor

The quality of the food was very good. I did not enjoy the Korean spices. If you love this spice palate, you will have a great experience. If deviating from the normal spices of comfort food, this restaurant, as wonderful as everything else was, is not a good fit. The cornbread was great, but the spice in the honey drizzle was a drawback. The cheesy grits and sausage gravy was excellent and was the only thing I found that I could truly enjoy.

Love this restaurant. Food is amazing and the service is great. Highly recommend the catfish. If you are looking for a nice combo of southern with an Asian flair this is the restaurant for you. Great ambience and perfect for any type of celebration.

We set outside to enjoy the weather and people while we ate. The smoked chicken wings were amazing. The deviled eggs with kimchi were surprisingly very good. I woul d order that again for sure. My date had the hamburger with pimento cheese with bacon jam that he enjoyed greatly. The macaroni and cheese had a great consistency and very cheeses but a little oily for my taste.

There was absolutely no healthy options at all— i get that it's southern, but at least have one salad entree that was moderately healthy. Should have looked at the full menu beforehand. Service was great, setting ambience was great.

I was a little skeptical fiven some of the reviews but it was a good sinig experience overall. I had the chicken and waffles which was plentiful and delicious, while my wife had the shrimp and grits whoch she loved. Finished it off with the banana pudding which was also good. It didn't have my personal favorite wafers, but they used their homemade wafers which were thin and crispy. Nonetheless I liked the dessert.
