Fish By José Andrés At The Cove Atlantis

We went there early for our reservation, and the host was able to accommodate us immediately, although he is busy. Food and service were first class! I'll try her chicken next time!

Extraordinary in every way. Perfectly cooked and seasoned seafood, above average service, decent wine list (for Atlantis) with a cool vibe and ambience. Just plan ahead if you want the Lion Fish we missed out!

AMAZING cuisine and congrat to the chef! Well, overall everything was excellent and fine cuisine compare to any restaurant here on the island! Even very good restaurant in the us don’t have the same level for fish/meat as this one! We got started with this cheese croquette with honey butter, I don’t know what it was but it was excellent! Then, I got Tuna with plantains as a starter, the tuna was amazing and melting on my tongue, (they didn’t have avocado at the time so they didn’t put it in mine which was very deceiving but very good without it anyway Then we got : Meat, salmon and Snapper and a green salad. Meat was excellent nothing to say, (the chips coming with it were spicy, so an indication of it would be great! Wow, the salmon was incredible! Perfectly cooked and this sauce was insane in flavor! Last, the Snapper isn’t for everyone’s taste but still was good and cook very well! Missing a side of vegetable or potatoes to go with it (which we had to take separately We took this AMAZING potato oven cooked with cheese on top, it was excellent. I definitely recommend. Desert were all very good, chocolate mousse and lime pie, good to share! So why 4/5? Well, it is very expensive! One glass of white or red good wine was 25$! It was very tasty but this shouldn’t be priced that high as well as any item on this menu… Even if It was excellent, really enjoyed my meal, the bill was very salty! BUT if you have to pay 400$ for a meal on this island, I would do it here!

Restaurant is very well designed. Looks quite modern! Just the fabric on the chairs felt very cheap. Staff was polite and fast. Taste of food was good, but in my opinion much too expensive for what you get. It is extremely cold inside.

The ambiance was lovely nice brightness. Food was good. Presentation was lovely and quality ingredients make the small portions easy to consume. Nothing was overly impressive; in particular the service… was simply mediocre. (Made us feel like there is Nothing to work for when gratuity is added to an over priced a la carte bill. Not able to get “plain” food options if someone has dietary restrictions. Was a nice experience but wouldn’t choose to go back. (Think it’s amazing what the chef does for communities that encounter disaster.
