Great service and the food was very good as well. This will be my go to on the west side!

Used to be a national restaurant, but it all started here. Visit the original joint. Always the best service and food. The chicken fingers are the best in Nashville.

Excellent service! I wish I caught the name of our server who waited on us with upmost kindness generosity! Food came quick tasted great! Also love the fresh free hot rolls, served with whipped butter. This is a true American restaurant experience.

I have read bad reviews about this place and I don’t get it . I am going through cancer treatments at St. Thomas so its easy to say I am not feeling my best . Everyone at Dalts makes me feel welcome , the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is out of this world . The staff is very friendly , it’s always clean . I understand people sometimes have bad experiences but this place is top notch .

Dalts has been in this location for many years. I've heard great stories about this place with restaurant style seating and great diner food. Stopped by because I was in the area. Unfortunately, the stories of years ago do not hold true today. Seated right away. : Didn't see the server for 10+ minutes. Thankfully the thoughtful host came back by and got us drinks. Server arrived, friendly and nice. She brought out fresh rolls after a good bit of a wait. Placed our order and waited. After about 15 mins, I looked around and noticed that no one was eating. I've been in the restaurant 25mins or so and people there before me also were not eating. Food was not seasoned well (grilled chicken sandwich, not salted and only tasted of artificial smoke . My companion ordered roast beef, it looked like something out of a can that had been rinsed. He literally poured enough water (flavorless and mostly clear off the plate to fill half his generously sized dressing cup. Server only came by well after we had finished to collect payment (seriously thought about just leaving cash b/c it took that long . Again, she was friendly but definitely not prompt or attentive. Restaurant is a little rough for the wear and tear and could use some investment.
