Good is good and fresh. The lady who takes your order and plates the food for you is always so very sweet. The gentleman at the register is very nice too

What an incredible gem! Visiting from out of town with a group of friends from across the world, I wanted to give them an example of great Southern fare and boy, did they deliver! Crowd favorites were the chicken and dumplings, Mac and cheese, and cabbage. Being a southern boy I loved every single bit of it, and I was so happy to share this.

If you want amazing comfort food and a small town vibe, this is where you should go! We will be back every time we visit Nashville from now on! (PS the tilapia was not an option to choose in the drop down of this review but it is also amazing!

The best Meat and 3 in town hands down! I’ve never had a bad meal from here! Their chicken tortilla soup may be award winning, but their gumbo is the best I’ve ever had. Plus, George and Amy are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. You’ve got to make City Cafe a regular stop for lunch.
