Bidrage med feedbackI thought I had found a good bakery before I had been there and made it weekly, but the bread does taste good and the specialty is bolillos or simple bread, but what makes me angry is that they keep selling us poorly made bread or food, which hurts.

Baked products are super. Staff is friendly, the only reason I am giving it a 4-star is because I was double charged for a pastry and did not realized until after leaving the store.
I absolutely love this little Mexican grocery store. With the amount of Mexican cooking I do, I need a reliable tortilla vendor in town. A proper tortilla is certainly not as easy to find in Nashville as in my hometown of Los Angeles. Despite so many fantastic Mexican groceries around Nashville emblematic of the massive Hispanic population here, many of them sell tortillas from other companies in Georgia, Texas, and other states. But 7 Luminarias faithfully sells La Hacienda tortillas made locally at a tortilleria just 1.5 miles south of this bakery. And they are absolutely fabulous! The La Hacienda restaurant, which I believe is the same company as the tortilleria, literally stands next door. So why wouldn 't the market sell their tortillas? Walking into this modest bakery and grocery store, you 'll see the glorious stacks of 72-count corn tortillas straight ahead of you. They also sell smaller street taco tortillas, and flour tortillas that are so good you could just heat them up in a microwave for a few seconds and chow down! I don 't know how La Hacienda can make such an amazing item with not much more than flour and lard. It 's sheer genius! Most employees don 't speak much English, but fear not. Don 't miss a chance to come here just because you cannot speak Spanish, because you 'll have no trouble checking out and the various cashiers are always friendly. The store does take credit and debit cards. The sign over the business translated from Spanish to English reads Bakery, cake shop, and groceries with an additional message, Coming soon: butcher shop. I don 't think the meat counter ever came to fruition. If it did, it disappeared during the pandemic. But that isn 't the main draw here. At 7 Luminarias, you 'll also find quite a lengthy assortment of baked goods behind glass spanning about 20 to 30 feet. Authentic Mexican spices can be found here too, like ground Ancho Chile and ground Guajillo Chile among many. They have some nice looking jalapeño peppers too! Behind glass near the cash register are beautiful cakes, and individual slices of tres leches cake and chocolate flan. While American grocery stores often tempt you with the scent of hot rotisserie chicken, 7 Luminarias features warm and fresh tamales in plastic bags (you can choose from cheese and jalapeño, chicken, and pork). It 's a local business I 'm definitely rooting for. This market will forever be one of only two stores that I patronize in town for Mexican ingredients, but they 'll always be my number one tortilla stop in Nashville!
