Bidrage med feedbackHubby and I were visiting Nashville and spotted this place close to our hotel. We love Thai so we wanted to give this place a try. The sketchiness didn't bother us, we just wanted some Thai! Service: HORRIBLE. The lady that waited on us seemed like she had an attitude like we were an inconvenience to her.
Just ate the most delicious homemade Lo mein noodles of my life. I highly recommend the shrimp lo mein.
I want expecting much from the looks of the place with a drive thru window, but I was presently surprised. Great find overall. Got the wonton soup which was a nice big cup with 3 large wontons. For my entree I chose green curry. If was spice, fresh and full of chicken. Very tasty. Ther only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that there was just 1 lady, assuming the owner waiting all the tables. Looks like we came in after a rush. Most tables were unbussed. Our table cloth was soiled. But the food was so good I didn't care. Large portions and reasonable prices.
We stopped in on 11/16/15 for a late dinner. My boyfriend ordered a beer and we both ordered their Angry Chicken- HOT and I went w/ the steamed rice and he added fried for $2.00. I took the leftovers home and enjoyed them today. The food is good and the hot wasn't overwhelming at all so I highly recommend going that route. The only thing I didn't like is that they don't have brown rice. The bathroom floor was sticky and overall, it was gross. The service wasn't overly friendly but not rude.
No frills Thai place near the Gaylord and other hotels in Opryland. They offer traditional Thai dishes but have many protein options, including chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, fish, catfish, tofu, frog legs, duck and lamb. Crab Rangoon, sate, salads, soups, curries and noodle dishes plus all the typical stir fry. Fast service. The portions are large and all the food was tasty. We had the Angry beef and Angry Shrimp. Copious amounts of the protein, al dente peppers, carrots, scallions and cooked onions. Great sauce flavors. We also each had a bowl of Tom Kha Gai which also was large, about 2 cups, loaded with chicken, cilantro and in a very flavorful coconut milk and lemongrass base. The only drawback was Chinese white rice was served instead of jasmine rice. Almost everyone in the place was taking home leftovers, and they do a lot of take out business. Great for vegetarians, too
