Mestizo's Mexican Cuisine - Nashville

The best burritos I've ever had! The chicken fajitas are fantastic, and the food is consistently fresh. The service is exceptional, and the restaurant is very clean. It's also a great place for families, as children are always welcome.

I ordered the chorizo con queso, and it only came with about seven chips. When I asked for more, I was informed that I would have to pay $1.99 for them. Seriously, do they expect me to eat queso with a spoon? It's 108° with the heat index, and I don't have time for this nonsense. There are countless Mexican restaurants in this town, and there's no way I'm returning to one that charges for extra chips. Goodbye!

New to the area, we've been on the hunt for a great Mexican restaurant, and we think we've found it! Mestio offers deliciously seasoned dishes that are served piping hot. The chips are warm and crispy, and the salsa is flavorful. The sangria was the perfect finishing touch. We can't wait to come back and try more items from the menu. Food rating: 4/5.

The food was good. The shell on the taco salad tasted like it was cooked in old oil. We sent that back but everything else was good. The street tacos (pork) was very good. A little on the expensive side. It was 60.00 for 2 people without any drinks.Food: 4/5

Food was priced too high for serving size, but it was excellent quality. Atmosphere terrible they kept testing a keroki machine on max volume. Also, regular music was way too loud, almost like they had it cranked up for themselves, not the customers.Food: 5/5
