Layla's Honky Tonk - Nashville

Whenever I visit Laylas, I always end up chatting with a stranger. I believe it's the vibe of the place. It's cozy, but the drink prices are cheaper than the popular bars on Broadway and the music has a bit of an old school feel, which I enjoy. Not sure if this is always the case, but it has been my experience. Laylas may not be as popular as other spots, but they allow minors to be in the bar until 6pm, making it a good option for families who want to enjoy live music together.

Intimate Honkey Tonk on Broadway with Live Music and vintage license plates lining the ceiling as decor. They have really good bands that take requests and are fun and can engage with the crowd. It's not a heavily crowded feel, so it has a very relaxed vibe to have a good time.

It’s a good place to go but it’s a little too big inside. If you want a more personal experience this is likely not for you.

Three years ago this place played legit country. Now it's just another frat pop honky tonk.

My husband and I absolutely loved this place. We visited during September 17th to 20th, 2021. I can't remember the name of the other place we went to, but as soon as we walked into this one, I knew we made the right choice. We ended up coming back to this bar twice because it was just so wonderful. They played amazing music and had different bands performing. The bartenders were very friendly and quick to get our drinks every time. This was my first bar experience and I can confidently say that we will definitely be returning soon. I fell in love with Nashville on my first visit – it's such a beautiful city. The drinks were also fantastic.
