Jacks is a regular stop for my family, meats are high quality and smoked to a perfect taste texture. if they enjoy cash b q, they give them a shot.

This place was great! yesterday stopped for lunch and you could smoke the wood as soon as you walked into the door. I had the smoked turkey sandwich with a shiny side and a bit of an ice cream. the help was very friendly and offered good advice to the food choices. I wish I was hungry so I could try more offers. the place was also really cool, and a thing I liked was that there was a flush in the dining room so they could wash their hands really fast before eating without going to the bathroom, that was cool.

Omg! Delicious. My faves were the ribs and sausage. We tried every meat. And everything had a good flavor. But I compare all BBQ to Texas. And the brisket, turkey, chicken and pulled pork was dry yet tender. Nothing wrong with it. Just a different style ofBBQ. But the chess pie...amazing!

Brisket!! Sauces!! Decorated really cute on the inside! You can smell the BBQ before you get in the building! I got the brisket and tried 2 different sauces. My favorite was the Kansas City Sauce. I love pickles with BBQ and they were great. What I wouldlove to have is a whole pan of cornbread served warm with a hunk of butter. Also, got baked apples and mac 'n cheese. Tea wasgreat and you don 't have to pay to park!! Also, this place has some history in that it was the site of the state 's firstpenitentiary. There 's a historical marker on the outside and a picture if the penitentiary on the inside. A must try whileyou are in Nashville!!

Wow. Great QUE. Everything was fresh, moist and flavorful. The chicken and ribs fell right off the bones. The choice of sides was great, and one was better than the other. The selection of warm BBQ sauces was unreal. Save room for the banana pudding.Staff is super gracious.
