Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We waited for about ten minutes for a table and about 30 minutes to eat. our table was not clean. floor and chair were sticky. I understand they're busy, but tables and chairs should be wiped. the manager should train bus drivers as I saw how to spray the table top, that's it! our sibling was pleasant and the eating is good.

Stopped in here for a quick breakfast with my husband before exploring Nashville! They weren't too busy and we were seated quickly. Our server was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable! I got the old timers breakfast and my husband ordered the biscuits and gravy; both of which were delicious! The gift shop was was filled with tons of beautiful decor and clothing for the Fourth of July!

We went to this location on our way home from vacation and should have known at the very beginning that this was going to be a bad experience. Started off waiting for a while for our server to even come and ask for drinks, by the time someone came, we were already ready to order food as well. Our server might have been having a bad day, but she was in no way happy to be there. Took way to long for us to get our drinks, and then another server came up and told us she would be taking care of us from then on (I’m assuming our other servers shift was over. Our food came out and was good, second server was nice, but then once we were done we couldn’t find our server to get our check. I took my son to the bathroom, walked around the toy area, and even sat out on the rocking chairs, while my husband continued to wait and find our server to get the check. Eventually, I went back into the dining area and just told my husband to come up to the cashier and maybe she could find our ticket. We stood in line, the lady at the cash register was having trouble ringing up someone in front of us (no big deal, it happens while standing there we saw a man come in and ask for his “to go” order, that had apparently gotten misplaced because nobody could find it. Another man got up from his table to ask his server about their to go bags, because she had forgotten them. And then finally we we’re able to check out. Everyone working there just seemed scrambled. It didn’t look like they were short staffed, but it did look like every employee had no clue why was going on. By far the worst Cracker Barrel we have ever been to.

My husband and I loved this Cracker Barrel! We ate here twice over 3 days while in Nashville and found the quality, quantity, taste and service to be on point. The servers Wendy and Holten R were lovely and very attentive to our table. Plenty of parking availabe. Would definitely go back!

On June 9th 2022 we decided to stop in Cracker Barrel on Charlotte Ave to have some lunch since we had a gift card. When we got to the register the gift card did not work. We got a song and dance about gift cards getting compromised by hackers. This is not the first time we have had a problem with a gift card at this location. We had a gift card I received for doing some work for a church I attended and when we tried to use it it did not work. So I turned it back into the church and was given a new card that I was assured would work. It still did not work and was told I needed to call customer service on back of the card. Wrong answer. What should have happened was a manager being summoned to the register and the meal comped since this is a second time it had happened. So far I am out 80 dollars for meals I had a 50 dollar gift card for. Now lets get to the overall experience. Once we got seated we ordered drinks that took forever to get to us. The food was not up to the standards to what I am use to from cracker barrel. Was told by the waitress that her and another girl were the only ones on the floor. Where were the managers? Couldn't they have at least been on the floor helping with drink refills and took that much off the waitresses? I can assure you of two things. Cracker Barrel will not care about this post or the actions of this unit today. I can also assure you I have spent my last dime in Cracker Barrel. Not to worry about that I never went often anyway. I guess there are three things I can assure you Cracker Barrel does not care if I ever come back because there are enough people that do that will make me unimportant.
