Bidrage med feedbackVery good overall with brunch. We eat here often and love it! One low point was not being able to get a hard shell with my piccadillo taco as requested as they did not have enough at 11:30 am.
My husband and I enjoyed a pleasant experience at Bajo Sexto even though we had to ask about our chips and cheese; it eventually arrived after our other food . Our waitress and another woman perhaps a manager or ? were very attentive and quite apologetic for this delay. Our cheese and chips was not listed on our bill due to the delay. . .that was appreciated. The food was delicious and is the closest to authentic Mexican food that we have eaten since we moved from San Miguel de Allende, MX two years ago. This was our first visit to Bajo Sexto, and we will plan to go back. Personally, I wish there were a few more wines listed on the menu. I drink Sauvignon Blanc and even tasted the Chardonnay, but it just didn't work for me. I am not a beer drinker and drank enough tequila while living in MX to last a lifetime. :
I liked the food a lot better before they changed the menu. The flank steak dinner had been delicious. The flank steak quesadilla was not a good substitute. The red salsa was odd. I was disappointed.
The place felt dirty. The waiter started by listing all of the things they were out of, two items being Guacamole (avocados too expensive? and pork? Restaurant wasn't busy but took a while for us to get seated and it took the waiter a while to get to us. It was just average.
The food was very good but the evening we were there the flies were terrible and out of control.
