A Matter of Taste - Nashville

First-timer visiting for Sunday brunch just before tenWe were seated immediately, although the restaurant did fill up while we were eating.

First of all, men don't bother. I mean maybe gluten intolerance is only a "woman thing" in the South.

Eh! Not going againFirstly, they are a 100% gluten free establishment which is why they got 2 starsMe H.

Honestly, this place was not that bad. The food tastes great, the servers are friendly and pleasant to talk to, but all of that is overshadowed by the amount of time it takes to get your food. I mean good grief.

The only negative review I've ever given, because I always give places second chances. I really have been confused both times I've eaten here. The first time my girlfriend and I sat for over 30 minutes waiting for our check. Once I approached the waitress (always Kindly), she apologized and said she honestly forgot about us. Okay I get that. Tried it again for brunch with my husband and 18 month old about a month later. Sat for 20 minutes before my husband got up and asked the hostess if we had a server. She apologized, but then another 10 minutes passed by before a guy came and took our order. I actually enjoy when food takes a little longer to prepare, I enjoy conversation over dinner. However, an hour later they brought my husband cold food -eggs and potatoes. And 10 minutes later after he was finished eating, they brought my baby and my food.It just made no sense since we ordered the same thing and both times I went, they were not slammed. The first time, I enjoyed my food, the second time, it was beyond bland. We wont be back, and unless they decide to figure out their service issue, I don't think it will last.
