Chef Anthony Felli perfects the Texas steak while also introducing new flavor profiles magnifique'. Staff is exceptional both in training innate kindness. Leave it to the Bonnell family to keep this stellar team together and bless all of Fort Worth.
The fish is on the salty side, the lobster mac cheese barely has some lobster meat, signature gumbo is about average. overall the menu has very small selection and not sure for special occasions at least, but the service was friendly.
Seafood is excellent. Gumbo was very good with a Texas twist. I'm from South Louisiana, and consider myself to be a seafood gumbo critic. Crab cakes were the best we've ever had, and steak was pretty good Oscar style.
We sat on the patio on a quiet Saturday night to work on our vacation plans. Our waiter was informative and paced our meal well. We started with Old Fashioned while we reviewed the menu. We started with the Dirty Dozen oysters always a favorite! We split a salad of arugula, heirloom tomatoes and crispy-fried goat cheese with a garlic ranch dressing. (I need to figure out how to fry goat cheese now! . I had the halibut, served on top of spicy sweet potatoes with lemon basil cream sauce. My partner had branzino served with crawfish andouille sausage. We finished with a slice of pecan pie topped by ice cream. This was a dessert they are trying out – we would add it to the menu!
Beautiful setting and ambiance. Our waiter was fantastic and helped guide us through the whole experience (it was my first time eating oysters). I had the Arctic Char and it was phenomenal. The food was plentiful and delicious!
