Got sick after only having sushi roll from here after I got off work. Was the only thing i had this day to eat. Servers were good but not enough bang for the buck. Small portions. And def not worth it if I'm getting food poisoning!!! Had to lose a day of work bc of it.

The location is nice. Food was good but can be better. Price was reasonable. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy which I liked by the way.

It was our first time visiting this establishment. Coming in we were surprised by the modern and yet traditional decor of the restaurant. We started our meal with bao buns, a temptation roll, green tea, and a draft beer. Everything was outstanding. For our main course we ordered the beef bowl, fish and chips, and miso soup. All the food we order surpassed our expectations. Our favorites were the bao buns and beef bowl. This is a local restaurant everyone should try. You won’t be disappointed with anything you order.Dietary restrictions: They offer several gluten free options and you can customize certain dishes to be gluten free.

Oof... Had high hopes for this restaurant but it fell way short. Let's start off with the bao bun filled with some sort of Mexican meat (beef? Filling. It was a weird artificial meat mush which did not pair with the exterior Asian bun. Similar with the beef rice bowl. Weird artificial American Asian sauce that just doesn't work and ain't even close to Asian style meat on rice dishes. The rainbow sushi roll was fine but nothing special, fish tasted nothing to get excited about, not that fresh. Not sure why this place is rated highly, maybe because it's one of few Japanese restaurants in the area. Strongly skip if you're looking for good Japanese food

The Good:Great customer service; Staff were friendly and nice. The wait on the food wasn't that bad considering it was busy at the time.The Bad:Their Sushi ? (along with the other food that we ordered) were very meager servings. Definitely not worth what we paid for.The Ugly:We all got diarrhea when we got home. Didn't pay too much attention to the Sushi but I can recall the tuna having a weird smell and odd color. Like it was very old. I didn't want to complain/make a scene since I trusted the high reviews (the score was 4.9/5) at the time when we ate there. My mistake for trusting it.
