La Perla

Came for lunch on a Taco Tuesday. It was great! Pork tacos with a side of avocado was what I ordered. The pork tacos were juicy without being greasy and they were flavorful. It was served with a side of lime rice that was great as well! The server was super friendly and on the ball. Definitely glad I stumbled into here while in town.

Great staff and management. The GM even came over after our meal to make sure everything was perfect.

Only been once with a friend. Since we arrived after 10pm, we were limited to the empanadas. Very yummy! Bottle of wine was reasonably priced and tasty. Service was friendly. Would like to return to sample more.

This is one of my favorite places at Houston and 8th, or downtown in general. It's a tequila and ceviche bar, which is great. It's surrounded by other outstanding, but different, bars and restaurants. Even though the ceviche is great, the sandwiches are incredible. For a drink, I always go with the Vampiro.

Great service from everyone. The cocktails are delish and the outdoor seating is where the best views are had. They just started Collective Brew on tap so I'll be returning. (We even saw Mayor Betsy Price stop by the outdoor seating area and wave)
