Bidrage med feedbackCustomer service was good, and everybody was nice, but the food was not great. I got the Thai Dye wrap. The ingredients tasted fresh so that was a plus, but the ingredients were very inconsistently layered in the wrap. When I got bites of the flavor combinations it was very good. But too often I would get only a bite of cilantro, or only a bite of spicy tomato paste (I'm guessing this came off the spicy tofu since it wasn't listed on the ingredients), or only a bite of thevegetables, and so on which resulted in a very inconsistent experience for food that took about 20 minutes to arrive at my table. They're also *very* quick to bus tables (they were pretty busy when I went at noon on a Saturday) and theyended up bussing my greens before I could finish them when I got up to refill my water.
I don 't know where to start here, I just landed in Dallas this morning and decided on a light dinner tonight. My friend and I found Flower Child and it seemed to check all the boxes. When we got there, we placed an order: I got the organic kale with steak, no white cheddar. The girl behind the register proceeded to ask me if that 's an allergy or a preference, and I said allergy. Imagine my surprise when my food came with white cheddar but no dressing. I tried to overlookthis and asked for a dressing. Another girl at the restaurant asked me what I wanted, and I said the one it comes with, apple cider vinaigrette. She came back and said we didn 't have any, and offered me sunflower vinaigrette or miso ginger.I absolutely hate hate ginger so the choice was pretty clear. Why does my sunflower vinaigrette taste like it 's filled with ginger and miso taste? That 's a mystery I 'll never solve. At this point, I was like, I have to reorder. I alreadypoured the dressing all over a salad. The woman in charge at the counter was great, and offered to have another salad remade. I have to give credit where it 's due, she was really professional and felt like the only person here, who knewwhat 's going on. But why is it that when she took my order, she was able to get the Apple cider vinaigrette through, and with no cheese? The food overall was good, when the order was finally right. I wasn 't actually planning on leaving areview until the end of the night. My friend and I finished our food and literally just wanted to wash our hands before we left. While she 's in the bathroom, you hear one employee in the kitchen yell at me PLEASE LEAVE so loudly while therest of the staff looked at me and giggled, making it even more obvious that they message was meant for us. I 've never ever seen such terrible service through and through. I hope that someone in the management put more effort in thetraining of these employees so that they understand the meaning of service industry. I can
The redesign of the space that Flower Child occupies is fantastic. Very open and bright. But the star of the show is the food. Delicious! The avocado hummus and forbidden rice were amazing. Will definitely be back. Given how many people were constantly in line to order, I imagine this restaurant is going to do just fine!
