Lomandra's Restaurant - Narangba

Out for breakfast with friends today at Lomandra's Restaurant at the North Lakes Golf Resort. We sat outside, a little breezy but the location is great. The menu selection covers all the usual breakfast favourites, I had the big breakfast with extra eggs. The big breakfast comes with bacon, eggs (cooked to your liking), mushrooms, tomato, sausage and toast (nicely toasted, not the usual warmed bread served up as toast). One of our group had the halomi and eggs. It looked fantastic and was apparently very good. A nice place for breakfast.

We've been to Lomandra's several times and enjoyed it, but today we did not enjoy anything. We were given menus and water and coffee and food orders taken. Food took a long time to come. We asked the waitress for cutlery she agreed, but she was taking so long and our food was getting cold; I found two waitresses - the one getting our cutlery serving someone else and she told the other waitress we wanted cutlery, so the second waitress picked up forks and disappeared into a back room and I was left standing there. One of my friends went looking for the waitress who came out a side door. I said our food was getting cold; she ignored me and walked off. Perhaps these waitresses need re-training or moved into a role where they don't deal with customers.

Pizza Rustica opened last weekend in the Ethel Street courtyard, just behind the Guildford Village Market row of shops along James Street.

In the morning, they will strengthen themselves in the lomandra’s restaurant in the north lakes golf resort. we sat outside, a little breezy, but the location is great. the menu selection includes all the usual breakfast favourites, I had the big breakfast with extra eggs. the big breakfast comes with speck, iron (cooked to her pleasure,) mushrooms, tomaten, sausage and toast (mostly roasted, not the usual hot brot served as toast.) one of our group had the halomi and egg. it looked fantastic and was obviously very good. a beautiful place to the breakfast.

Terrible Bland food and slow service. here for lunch on the weekend and were disappointed (again) I visited three times in the last two years and it seems as if nothing had changed. the table of 4 ordered deer and net together, but the deer appeared at different times and then 1 of the net was delivered over 40 minutes before the other three. Club sandwiches were bland and maybe the worst I cost. the macadamia plastered chicken tasted like the roasted chicken served in a bowl without accompanying salad or chips with not a macadamia in itself or taste. the service was slow and unapologetic. we give this place no more chance and through the view...read more
