Bidrage med feedbackWe were there during the Arts Crafts weekend, an annual event for us. Business was slower than past years. There was not as much variety of foods, although what they had was still very good.
I have fond memories of Amish Acres, but the quality of the food has gone way down. They were serving buffet style yesterday. I did not like anything I tried, the chicken parmesan was tough, overcooked meatballs that tasted like cardboard. I did not understand why the theme of the buffet was Italian. I miss the bean soup and beef tips and noodles.
The food here was fantastic. We had the meal option with the play: broasted chicken, pot roast, beef and noodles, rolls, veggies, mashed potatoes, dressing, and a slice of pie. Portions were huge, and the food was hot, well-seasoned, and tasty. The venue is also really cute--it would be a great spot for a wedding.
Sunday buffet horrible. Biscuits hard, gravy runny very little to select from. Was told pies was left overs from the week. Our group will not be back.
My mother said if I don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. That's it....
