Rossopomodoro Cimarosa

Excellent food quickly served. Our server was wonderful, unfortunately I didn't catch his name but he was friendly attentive and great with our young son!

Very good spagetti di pomodoro. Pasta gragnano. Served with oven baked bread. Good and quick service.

Beer went up from €3 to €4.80 from sitting at the bar to ordering food! Food talks a good menu but, for me, doesn't deliver. Loads of seaweed dough balls, tasteless. Fortunately, by default, saved from embarrassment as second course put on table with most of starter still uneaten! Probably a blessing as main course was equally disappointing. Speciality local dish. ? Pasta, very thick and chewy, rest of dish ok. Oh, and did I mention the €2 cover charge? Charged €25, didn't think it was worth 10.

Great food, atmosphere and service, suggest to reservation for Saturday nights, overall service, foodand price are very good.

Rossopomodoro is centrally located just off the main shopping street. The restaurant has a versatile menu apart from the range of pizzas available. We went for grilled swordfish and fried anchovies with a portion of chips. The portions were very generous and the food was fresh. The service was acceptable and the decor a little out of date. However a pleasant experience for under €37 including a 25cl carafe of white wine, 50cl of bottled water and 2 caffee napolitana and coperto.
