Osteria Da Carmela - Napoli

This restaurant was a great sound. really great restaurant with beautiful atmosphere, delicious food and excellent service. the whole food was very fresh, perfectly cooked and full of taste. large selection of wines also. the waiter was very welcoming and efficient and has made a great task to search the entire restaurant itself. I would strongly recommend a stop for lunch.

I loved this place! to lunch and ended with this great experience. it starts with the great service, I love if the personal has no fear to recommend what to eat. I went for all the suggestions and left satisfied with the amount, and happy for the quality, taste and price.

Carmela was recommended by our Airbnb host, so in our second night in neapel we paid it a visit. the reservation at the front is recommended, as the space holds at most seven to eight tables. carmela creates with the tedious jazz as a scene for talks and bright, colorful works of art on the wall an inviting and calm atmosphere for her to enjoy her meal. the menu fits to appetizer, first and second curses (fish and meat/gift) on a single sheet paper, which is often a good sign. better to do only a few things very well than to overwhelm the guests with mediocrity. we pick up a small bottle house red from the extensive wine menu and start our night with fried zucchini flowers. at this point in our stay in neapel we were bombarded with sorts of fried foods, and aromen have begun to mix with each other. regardless of this, the flowers are a crispy, creamy and very pleasant experience, where the greatest achievement lies in how fresh they feel under the teig. our main course consists of a classic spaghetti vongole and a spaghetti alla nerano. rich in olive oil, garlic and dishes that are cooked to perfection, the vongole attaches its position as one of the largest culinary achievements of napoli. the spaghetti alla nerano my partner ordered combined zucchini, cheese and basilikum in a rich and creamy dish that feels more than the sum of its parts. despite our knowledge that white would have worked a bit better, the red wine impressively accompanies the teller well. dessert consists of cake that was buried in limoncello. after the amount of wine I drank, it proves to be a man with the hammer and he's just hitting me. in any case a good way to finish the night. Finally a special mention for one waiter who serves us tonight. always present, attentive, patient, he seems to mix in the background until his excellent services are required. what a welcoming, warming experience.

One of the best restaurants I saw. the service is absolutely perfect, the portions are demanding. the fish is fresh, the wine tastes really good. I recommend tasting this restaurant when they are in the city!

This place is so lovely! Because of it's small size it's such a surprise. We went there because of all the good reviews; they are all true! A very friendly and patient waiter. A very fast service and the food is só good. A gem compared to some other places.
