L'enoteca Del Grottino - Napoli

We went for dinner a special dinner and it was we had a selection of small plates which we left to the proprietor to select. Hot and cold plates with many local specialties. All were wonderful. The Italian wine selection was the best I have experienced, particularly the number of aged wines. We were steered towards the wines of Campania, which are clearly the proprietor's favourites, and were not disappointed. A unique and charming dinner followed by lunch a few days later.

This was our favourite restaurant to eat in Naples. We had dinner first and came back 2 days later for lunch. They have an amazing selection of local and Italian wines. We left the food ordering to the owner who selected two delicious pastas and small sharing plates. They also have cold cuts perfect for a drink. Highly recommend this as a lunch/dinner spot!!

When you enter you think it is a wine shop but in the back you find some tables among a lot of bottles of alcohol. Small menu but the food tasted good and the wine was great. Service was funny and of course hardly any English but that made it enjoyable. For sure recommended eating in a cave!

Great selection of italian and french wines (including champaign) as well at very fair prices. I had a swordfish carpacio which was outstanding. Beautiful ambience. Will come back for sure!

Loved it! The waiter couldn’t do enough for us. It had a great feel and we had a lovely meal. They only have two vegetarian meals which was slightly disappointing. But honestly one of the best experiences in Naples we have had.
