I D'avino - Napoli

Attenzione! If you're not from Naples they try to steal you! We've gone for lunch yesterday and they didn't give us the menu. They charged us 14 euros for a pasta each (28 euros to both) and 15 euros each just for one fish. Our check resulted in 101 euros for a lunch!!! Do not go to that place, there's some accounts of people being threatened with a knife by the bald waiter.

The first thing I noticed was bad coordination into the restaurant. We also got a bad quality course and I can't gove a good feedback for that. I hope my review will improve their quality because the restaurant is located in a very nice place in Naples.

As another review just mentioned, I was quite disappointed from this restaurants. I passed by and I was in a rush. I asked them if they thought I could make it in half an hour. They said sure and they gave me a seat. I asked them to go for a little starter while waiting and a pasta main. My main arrived 35 minutes later so I literally had no time to eat it. Also, in addition to the pasta, they cooked an entire fish for me which I found really odd cause they knew I didn 't have the time to eat one thing, imagine 2 of them! Results: I ended up eating some pasta and leaving in a rush. Payments for the starter, the pasta and the fish that I literally didn 't even touch with my fork. They asked me for 30€ and they said I could not pay by card. I paid cash and I asked for the receipt cause nobody seemed to be about to give it to me after payment. The cashier had no clue how to print a receipt so I let you imagine how she handle other customers as well and how do they pay taxes. Food was ok but experience was a nightmare. DON 'T GO THERE.

Greated by a very good-salesman lookin guy who served us very good seafood! We, as well as he will, really recommend the risotto of the house! Recommended for couples! ;

Stay away, it is dangerous financially and physically. We were over-charged by €25 per person, in a con-job, by the big, shaved headed waiter. When my husband requested a refund, the waiter physically threatened him with a knife, and refused the refund. This place is mediocre food, and horrible service. Admittedly, we played the fools and if we had read reviews we would have seen others had been similarly swindled. We repeatedly asked the waiter for a menu, were told not to worry, witnessed many modestly dressed couples eating the same small portion and low cost fixed menu, and assumed we were in for a bill of perhaps €15 to €20 per person, with the wine. Instead we were told to pay €40 per person. We later found out the cost was €15 per person, and my husband requested a refund.
