A Do' Monaco - Napoli

O monaco is a family-run restaurant with a large dining room and a covered outdoor terrace. the covered terrace offers a beautiful garden. the pizza is cooked in an oven pizza. we saw them make us fresh pizza and diego served us. the pizza was excellent.

I ate here with my Neapolitan family, and they had said that eating at previous visit was very good. this time, from the beginning, it did not live the expectations. the half of our party had already arrived and sat when we were. we were shown to the table and immediately the waiter came to our order. he just asked us what we wanted, and when we asked about the menu, he tipped his head and told us that he was the menu that we only had to tell him what we wanted, and he would tell us if we had it! I don't know if they've ever ordered food on this way, but without menu for instructions, I found it impossible. at the end I ordered a four seasons pizza that doesn't exactly know what to expect but happy to try. when it came, the pizza had been cooked clearly in an electric ofen, and if I am honest, I have doubt about the preparation also the basic was an eerily perfect circle, not the hand-shaped try that they usually find in neapel. two of the toppings were perfect and simple, but a quarter was snuggle (which I like, but I never chose on a pizza) and another was oliven. I know this is a normal topping, but I don't like olives, so if I had a menu, I would never have ordered it! I'm not a slower eater, but because I was last served, I was the last one to end. I was barely halfway through my pizza, and someone else in our party eats even when the waiter cleared the teller away. he took the dessert selections from all others on the table (but without menu and came to me last. still eating my pizza, I told him I should wait until I finished my main course. he took it and told me that I should order. I told him that I wanted to wait until I was done and he left, insulted and told me that he would return when I was done to take my order. he returned to the table when I had finished the pizza (even if the quality was not great, I ended it), and once I had put the last mouth in my mouth, he tried to pick up my teller to know if I was finished now. I put my cute on the teller and took him away. all the other desserts arrived immediately, but no one came up again to take over my dessert order. In view of the experience I had with my head, it was not really a problem.

Very cozy place, exquisite food and great professionalism! welcomed the diego waiter and his availability was such as to move the table near the stove only to make us warm more! outdoor environment well maintained, beautiful to see and very wide, ideal for those with children. among others there are two goats too beautiful. the interior is very wide and the bathrooms are very clean, heated also with stove and with a lot of platform for disabled in wheelchairs! homemade cooking in an exemplary way. I hope to come back soon and recommend it to everyone!
