St. Germain Steakhouse - Naples

The place was nice, the waiter was polite, the bread was good, the lobster bisque had too much starch, the New York Steak and the Filet Mignon were too cooked, absolutely dried, we had them returned and after they took it back to the kitchen, the chef cut it into the middle and brought the New York back to our table and told us, that is red in the center, I was shy with their approach, that I told them is ok, I never had A 20oz New York Steak so dry. They only refilled our glasses with water after dinner. We paid with a gift certificate, then the chef comes to our table for more embarrassing news, telling us that the gift certificate was not found on their computer system and ask us where did we acquired? Lucky, that my wife kept the postcard with its details. Terrible Experiences, Never Coming Back.

They never brought out our salads and the meals also came out wrong we said to start over and bring us our salads and also bring the meals that were ordered. The salads came and then they brought us out the exact same meals 20 minutes older and still not what was ordered. Never saw or heard from management. We were dismissed.Lobster bisque was phehenomenal.

Service and food great. We split a 10 ounce fillet plenty for two so cost was well worth the dinning experience.

The only thing good about Stoney's was the decor! For the prices they charge the food and service was very disappointing. Lucky for the server a $100 dollar gratuity was included ... she was not good. Only one of the six at our table enjoyed their meal. Never again Stoney's! We feel ripped off! There are too many great alternatives in Naples to return.

I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. The service, food and all around experience was just awesome. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT!!!!!
