Bidrage med feedbackThe staff was friendly. They made it without onions and garlic for us to take Jain among us.
I have recently eaten here again and my review has stopped because the service was terrible. After we waited for our food for about an hour (we were unsuccessful with our waitress during this time) we finally got the attention of our waitress. We have mentioned that we have committed ourselves to getting and needing our meals. She said she'd fire the kitchen. After an hour? I don't know what she was waiting for. The food arrived and we only had time to eat a few bites. These bites were good, but still a bad taste in our mouth. I agree to order here at the spice level. The food was good. I really appreciate having more than a vegan option on the menu. The restaurant is nice and the service was also good. I'd probably eat here again. Updated by previous review on 2019-12-08
Every single thing I tried at 21 Spices has thrown me away. You have a separate vegan menu (for ask) with appetizers, ducks, sides and salads. Really good cocktails and great wine list too. We have the vegetable sauces, Aloo Chaat, Aloo Gobhi and vegetables tikka masala. This is a must when you are in Naples and like Indian food.
For beginners they have a whole vegan menu, their staff is very knowledgeable and their sauces are wonderful. Can't go wrong with Indian food!
I had been a vegetarian for 47 years, on a Hindu diet with dairy products in moderation. The moderation has been allowing myself parmesan cheese on pasta and cream sauce for some Indian dishes. My husband and I have been reluctant to eat out much because we are trying to go Vegan. We took friends out to 21 Spices, and WOW, now there is a vegan menu. We had vegan Tikki Masala, Aloo Gobi, and Spinach and potato. All fabulous. They also have a vegan dahl, plain rice, and poppadums with two vegan sauces for their starter. The waitress did offer us vegan menus, but she clearly mentioned that we were missing out because we were not getting the special. (She needs some education. On this visit, only the poppadums were deficient, they were burnt. Every other time we have been there they have been good and my husband was disappointed because they are his favorite reason for eating at 21 Spices. If you come early and sit on the patio/bar area, they have lower priced drinks and some interesting bar food including Chat. The portions are generous. We often come with 3 people and order 2 entrees. We came with 5 people on this latest trip and had leftovers. The tab for 5 with no drinks except 1 bottle of Pelegrino was $114 plus a $20 tip. Not bad for truly freshly made cuisine.
