Buttercream Bakery Diner - Napa

This restaurant is a classic breakfast spot. The food was fantastic, especially the hash browns! Don't forget to grab a pastry to-go as well, it's a great idea.

I can only give this restaurant three stars because I haven't been there in years, so I can't be sure of anything. However, my mom delivers the morning stock throughout Napa Valley, so I'm confident that the doughnuts are good.

I live out of town I used to live in Napa and remembered buttercream as being a very good bakery we were having a wedding shower for my granddaughter in Napa it was a very elegant affair the colors were black and gold I ordered a champagne cake from butter cream I ordered white buttercream frosting black Writing with gold shadowing and multi colored Roses I am Attaching what I got I immediately called the bakery when the cake was delivered the girl who answered the phone was very kind and said call back on Tuesday we will take care of this I called back on Tuesday and and got a lady who was very rude she said I will take a message I will relate to the manager if she feels she needs to respond she will respond I could not believe that. I gave her the message told her about the cake sent her a picture of what I Received she called me today and said we will not refund your money we gave you what you wanted and that was it I told her the cake was ugly no one would have ordered such a horrible looking cake any seasond Baker would have Been alarmed. that there had to be an error in the ordering. They took my number when I ordered the cake they would not order a cake unless it was paid for in advance which I should have realized was a red flag but I went ahead and paid for it when I spoke with the woman I still don't know who she was but she answered the phone and she was very rude mumbled something and just hung up on me I will never order another cake from butter cream and I hope this review helps you if you have a special event Don't rely on them to get your order right. The cake I got looks like a bottle of Pepto bismo blew up on it the writing was black and gold.also wen cutting it the top kept falling of. Wen we were passing out cake by yhe time it got to the person the top plopped off and they got a top layer face down next to the bottom layer.

This is our weekly spot!Katty at the counter is always great!!The food is good and the plates are big, so if you don't eat that much, I'd recommend sharing.The pastries are really good, I always get my pink donut! Just love it!A really local place!
