The owner is very knowledgeable and accommodating when it comes to vegan options, which I appreciated. The overall ambiance of the café was delightful, and they also have a selection of kimonos and other items for sale.
I found this restaurant on other websites and saw that they offer a vegan sandwich option. My friends and I decided to try it, expecting marinated vegetables, salad, and tofu. However, when the sandwich arrived, there was no tofu and the salad dressing was not vegan. Thankfully, I noticed this before taking a bite. The staff kindly made me a new sandwich, but it was lacking in vegetables and mostly consisted of lettuce. The bread was decent, and the side salad was tasty but small. The set including the sandwich, salad, and juice cost ¥1000, which I didn't think was great value. Ultimately, we had to go eat somewhere else afterwards. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and the staff were friendly.
We were here because Genmai was out of food. It said seven Islands on the sign outdoor. The sandwich is okay but not really filling. The lunch menu (with a little cabbage on the side and Shizo lemonade) costs 1.000y. I 'd try to find another spot next time. Many mosquitos in the backyard.
The donburi at this restaurant is delicious, hearty, and satisfying, with the portion size being perfect. It can also be made vegan. The menu is in English, and during our visit, the staff were native English speakers. The zenzai and kakigori were also tasty. However, the prices are a bit high. There are limited options available, with donburi being the only vegetarian main on the menu, though requests may be accommodated. The portions of the meat options on the menu were a bit small.
Delicious donburi, filling and savory, portion size was just right. can be made vegan. menu is in English, and employees are native speakers English when we left. also the zenzai and kakigori were good. a little expensive. limited options (donburi was the only vegetarian pornstar on the menu, but I think they can ask). and the other menu options (the flesh had) had portions that were a bit small
