Glidden Island Seafood - NANTUCKET

Stopped from the store to get some for dinner, and the lady beat swordfish tips and recommended I kabob them with paprika and onions. That was the best SWORDFISH who lives every time. Amazing recommendation, super friendly staff, delicious fresh seafood. I couldn't have been happier!

Freshest fish tacos and fish and chips at reasonable prices. Would be great to have a seating area to enjoy the food as it only comes out, but we sat on the bench outside the store to enjoy the food. It's worth coming back.

I love Nantucket Bay Scallops and as the scalloper I usually order couldn't deliver me, he recommended Gliddens. The service could not have been more professional and the scallops were more fresh and tasty. I ordered 10 pounds and they sent them to NYC overnight. When they arrived, they were properly packed in a pound bag and packed with cold packages in a reusable polystyrene container. Absolutely pleased to have found a new source and a local company in Nantucket. Thanks to the Gesellen, the staff and the owners. Great discovery.

The new owners have done a great job to improve an already solid seafood market. You have added a take-out option and it is great. Baked mussels, tuna melt, Calamari, Ek. All great options for a quick pick-up - no seats.

Amazing fresh seafood! Fish Chips are fabulous, fried calamari fresh and delicious, tuna tartare was out of this world! Take out meals or raw fish to cook at home. Highly recommend.
