Les Tartes De Stanislas - Nancy

This is a simple cafe just a few doors off the main square. The food is mostly a quiche (several choices) with salad and optional chips or dish of the day. Everything seemed home cooked, the wife seems to run the kitchen, the husband serves. Just the two of them. The portions were ample for a lunch and service was friendly and leisurely. That is not a criticism, just not fast food.

We had a brief stopover in Nancy and wanted a good light meal and this cafe was just the perfect choice! Web I received the bill I just could not believe how reasonable the price was for such good food that included vin blanc and café. She had tarte épinards et fromage while he had tarte tomate et chèvre Both with agrees salad and all for less than€20!

Just a few meters from Place de Stanislas is this little restaurant which offers tasty traditional French food with an astonishing value for money taking in consideration the excellent location.

Salads are great and unlike some salads I could eat, the quality and quantity are there! Their homemade fruit juices are too good! (PS: the friendliness of the waitress is not really on the date, damage)
