Umai Sushi - Nanaimo

This restaurant in Nanaimo offers some of the best sushi around. The prices are reasonable. I opted for the Mt. Benson platter, which I found a bit too sweet. I plan to try a different platter next time. The sashimi was exceptionally fresh.

This place has the best sushi in town, hands down! I highly recommend it if you're in the mood for delicious food with a beautiful view of cherry blossoms.

Our server provided an exceptional traditional Japanese experience. She shared the custom of the cherry blossom petal falling into your drink symbolizing good luck, and even brought us a complimentary tea with traditional petals imported from Japan. The service was outstanding, 10/10. The food was delicious as well, especially the Takoyaki. Everything was devoured in 20 minutes. I highly recommend dining here.

Super delicious and fresh food. They had super interesting sushi rolls which you would normally not found besides the standard ones. Everything tastet great and the staff was super helpful and friendly and happy to chat. Will definitely come back as it also was great value for money!

I had the small bowl miso soup with the Big Boss Salmon Sushi. Very pleasant waitress the food was spot on and fast delivery to the table. An added bonus was they have call buttons at each table to let them know you are ready to order or anything you need.Parking: Behind north town center beside london drugs and tim hortons.
