Jingle Pot Pub - Nanaimo

A HUGE RAVE to Natasha, 2 other servers (I'm sorry I didn't get your name) and the one and only cook at JINGLE POT PUB on Sunday 24 July (Badewochenende). I called so many places for a 70. Birthday dinner for my mother with 11 people and no one would reserve. When I called the Jingle Pot Pub and gave them a quick head up, they walked out of the way to bring us terrace seats together under a awning and accentuate us in the short term when the other restaurant fell through short staff and a long line. The employees in the JP-Pub were above the top, although they were also short employees! The food was great, the prices were great and the service was spectacular!! Not only did they get everything out in perfect time, they served with smiles and were incredibly accommodating! That day all the employees... only 4!! Would definitely recommend!!! Thank you to all so much for making my mother's birthday dinners the best!!

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service is top-notch. They don't even need to ask for our order because they already know what we like. We prefer going at night when it's quieter. Our favorite dishes are the wings, burgers, and fries.

The food and prices at this restaurant are fantastic. The service is good and I also enjoy the craft classes they offer. The $5.00 beer is a great deal. The salad was also very large.

We have been frequenting this pub for 25 years or more, visiting once or twice a year. However, our experience today was terrible. The tomato soup lacked any tomato flavor and had chunks of unknown white substance and a bit of white cheese. We sent it back without any issue. The Caesar salad was drenched in dressing with chunks of bacon, making it soggy and limp without any crispness. The crumbs were also saturated with dressing. Despite this, we ate what we could and informed the server who was kind enough to offer a discount without us asking for one. We explained how disappointed we were with the meal, only to be told that there are many others who enjoy it. Thankfully, my husband's burger and fries were good. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience.

We arrived at 10 to 5 and went to our table right away. The waitress cam and took out order and we got our order I for happy hour. Nachos were delicious, but small. Drinks were cold and good. Food came and Tasted great. When...the bill came, they had over charged on the wine special. Also, $3 more on the dinner special. Over all, we had a nice time and everything tasted good. It would behoove the staff to know the specials, and deliver on them. If they had, this would be a five star review.
