Kingfisher Restaurant - Nakusp

I booked a deluxe chalet for a personal retreat - just me and my dog.

Took the Wife here for our Anniversary. First let me say, it doesn't matter which way you drive in, the scenery is amazing. We came in across the Shelter Bay Ferry on a beautiful sunny day and it was spectacular crossing the Arrow Lake. After arriving at the Halcyon Hot Springs Resort we went into the Kingfisher and got a seat on the outdoor balcony and had a view of the Arrow Lake and the Pools. The waitress was excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Good variety on the menu but, don't expect to find Pub style food. Items are all Chef designed and geared toward a higher end food experience. Prices are what you should expect in remote areas. The food was very good and when combined with the view....awesome!Doesn't hurt to be able to go for a soak after your meal either.

This was the hi-light of our stay. Waiter was excellent. Caesar and tomato salads we had to start were some of the best I have ever had. The stir fry, pasta and fish and chips were so good for entrees. Glad we dined here and it did not disappoint at all!! Highly recommend.
