Bidrage med feedbackWonderful Swahili chicken in a super clean, friendly environment. Definitely a good option, even if you don’t care that it’s organic
This charming restaurant in the heart of the city offers a plethora of vegan dishes. I tried the classic mbaazi with chapati, which was both satisfying and tasty. Their smoothies and fresh juices are also worth trying.
This restaurant serves meat, but their menu includes a vegetarian section. The staff is knowledgeable about which items are vegan (most of them are). While vegan options are not specifically marked on the menu, there is a good selection to choose from and the quality is excellent.
Although serving meat and eggs, Bridges is a good restaurant to check out for the weary vegan traveller in search of plant-based options in Nairobi's Central Business Disctrict (CBD). In addition to a nice selection of fresh fruit and veggies juices, you will find classic Kenyan dishes like mbaazi, ndengu, njahi, yellow bean stew, white and brown ugali, irio, mboga, nduma, etc. Don't forget to try some gluten-free baked veggie samosas as well. According to the menu, Bridges sources non-gmo, pesticide free ingredients in their culinary creations. Please note that some of smoothies contain honey.
In a city where vegan options are limited, Bridges restaurant is a standout. They offer a variety of fully plant-based dishes and cater to the vegan diet. The food is delicious and healthy, with an abundance of greens not commonly found in other vegan restaurants in Nairobi. To top it off, all the ingredients are organic.
