India Cottage Take Away - Nailsea

I arranged for a collection and refund, but the driver never showed up. When they finally came at 10 PM, I answered the door only to see the delivery man run away! I called the restaurant to inform them, and they said not to worry, as they had told the driver to leave it. Just a few minutes later, we had another unexpected visitor—someone knocking and then running off again! This happened a third time! I confronted the delivery driver, feeling extremely frustrated. With two children asleep, I shouldn't have to deal with this kind of nonsense all evening. I returned the food and had to turn off my doorbell for the night. This will absolutely be the last time I order from this Indian restaurant. I can’t even express how angry I am!

As a new resident in Nailsea, I decided to try this restaurant after seeing some great reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Our order arrived 40 minutes late, and the poppadoms were unrecognizable—more like folded-up burned pancakes or a dry cracker. The chips were overcooked and cold, tasting more like cardboard than anything appetizing. The lamb tikka masala was decent, but the portion was only half-full. After spending nearly £30, I won't be returning for another order.
