もみじ Chá Wū - Nagano

For the first time in Nagano, Nagano wanted to eat specialties: Soba. Great Soba can be found here and Basashi (horse sashimi). Another special dish you can find here is “Kotzuzake” (Sake infused with grilled fish) Very recommended

A very cozy atmosphere. Tried the basashi and it was tender and great! Went for the set (basashi, motsunabe, tofu and beer) for 2200 yen, and added on a plate of cold soba (950 yen). The soba was firm and flavorful. Don’t think there’s an English menu, but you can’t go wrong with the 2200 yen set.

All the food was really good! They had an English menu for us. We tried the horse meat sashimi which was really tender and delicious. Honestly all of the dishes we tried were really great (soba, intestine soup, nozawana, salmon sashimi)
