Auntie Pasta's - Nacogdoches

I ordered the lasagna and was advised to go for the dinner portion to fully appreciate the flavors. I must say, I was truly pleased with my choice. The staff was incredibly helpful, and despite being quite busy, my food was served promptly.

If I could rate this place higher than 5 stars, I absolutely would! I visited on a Saturday night and was impressed by how quickly we were seated. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was lovely; I really appreciated the restaurant's decor. Finding parking was a breeze, given the ample lot outside. As for the food, it was incredibly delicious and very reasonably priced! I ordered the chicken alfredo, and it was fantastic. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend checking this place out!

We started with the shrimp wood cups; they weren’t what I expected, but they were really tasty. I’d definitely recommend them. I ordered Mama’s Spicy Chicken and Shrimp, which was excellent. My son had a combo plate that looked very generous and apparently delicious, though he didn’t share any with me! One of my pet peeves is restaurants that don’t have a good beer selection. Aunt Pasta’s has a solid list, including some local brews. I tried a couple from Fredonia Brewery; they were decent, and I appreciated the chance to try something new and local. Our experience would have been great if it hadn’t been for the long wait for our food. It took quite a while, and maybe if I had been drinking like the ladies next to us, I wouldn’t have minded as much. Our waitress did apologize, explaining that there were only two cooks that night, and it was a Tuesday. My meal wasn’t hot when it arrived, but my son's was. I guess he got lucky! If I could give half stars, I’d probably take off half a star for the wait. However, if it hadn’t been for that, I could easily see this being a 4.5 out of 5.

Such a great experience! We came at 7:00 on a Saturday night. It was very busy, but we sat in about 15 minutes. Server was very nice and inclined to our needs (refills on drinks, additional napkins, etc.). The food was fantastic. Great prices, large portion sizes.

What a fantastic little spot to eat! The building is some kind of old railroad warehouse very charming. They have a great variety of Italian foods. Our favorite was the lasagna thick and packed with flavor. This place gets crazy busy at peak hours, so prepare for a wait or go in an off time.
