Shaka - Na‘alehu

I visited the restaurant recently, and though there were only six people in the dining area, our food was prepared quickly, taking just 15 to 20 minutes. I ordered the Grilled Ono and the Ahi Poke, both of which were delicious! The only downside is that they only accept cash, but there is an ATM available on-site.

This is the southernmost bar in the United States, featuring amazing fried chicken. It's located in a small town with limited dining options, and Shaks is the only place with a full bar. Just keep in mind that island life moves at a slower pace, so be patient!

Shaka is fantastic! The food is delicious, and the service is excellent! The bartender, Mallyn, is wonderful! Even the fries are superb! I highly recommend this experience!

I had the Hamburg steaks with homemade gravy, sautéed mushrooms and onions, and two cups of white rice, all served with macaroni salad. We arrived just before closing time, and the staff was very accommodating.
