Bidrage med feedbackThe Chemist, which used to stand out from other bars with its unique offerings such as smoke bubbles in drinks and unique atmosphere, has now lost its special touch. It has become just another cocktail bar in Myrtle Beach, lacking the charm that once attracted customers. It seems that new ownership may have caused these changes, possibly due to cost considerations. Unfortunately, there is now nothing extraordinary to draw people in. The restaurant is located two blocks from the boardwalk and appears very dark from the outside. The photos provided were taken last September and do not reflect the current state of the establishment.
I went to this restaurant for brunch at 2:00 and it was very busy, so I appreciated being able to quickly come in and out. I ordered the chicken and waffles, which was good although the chicken was a bit fatty. My family ordered the omelettes and Whiting fish, which they enjoyed. I wish the hash browns were hotter and smoother. The waiter was friendly at first, but seemed like they were upset later on. The music and atmosphere were great fun though!
The atmosphere at this restaurant was fantastic! The music was perfect for guests of all ages. The staff were friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in to when we were seated at our table. The food, especially the Mimosa Tower, was excellent. I ordered the chicken wings and waffles, which were delicious. My only suggestion would be to have a snack before arriving as there was a bit of a wait before we were attended to by a waitress, around 10-15 minutes. I'm not sure if this is the usual wait time, but despite that, I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
Eating, drinking, service ànd dj was on point. This place is the place to be in myrtle Beach. We went to R and B Brunch on Saturday. Jennifer was phenomenal. We would definitely go back, maybe even on the same trip
I hardly ever give a place a bad rep but idk this place was not as the insta shows...not what the website says. When you walk in you can smell the fermented mixes...but like i said...i dont complain often and its the beach. Im cool as long as i get good stuff. The blonde young lady was really friendly and nice. Shes the high light of the place. We went just for the cool drinks we seen online. Ask the guy for suggestions on what cool or neat drinks they...his response was huh, we really dont have anything right now just whats on the menu which i get the menu is what you have but the menu didnt have any pictures so i wouldnt no. So i went with the key lime martini and my dad got a blushing whiskey sour. Both came out in club plastic cups. Now i get that its a club at night...but...come on its 8pm...still serving food... when you view the joint online you see awesome drinks in beakers and test tubes. There were tables but they were all pushed the wall to open the floor up i suppose to prepare for the night life. Yuckie sticky menus. Idk man its not as advertised and thats a shame. Last thing...2 drinks 31 bucks. They charged us for the drinks, a single serve charge, liquor tax, and other charges. NUTS! My dad said his drink was decent...mine tasted like cough syrup...couldnt finish it and he couldnt finish it. We paid and bounced.
