Bidrage med feedbackThe food was mediocre, though tasty, but the management is severely lacking. If the wait time is quoted at 30 min be prepared to wait closer to 1.5 hours, because at any point Kirk, the general manager, may decide to seat people that were not planned/expected or waiting. When we confronted him about it, he was unapologetic and said it was the “owner’s request.” A little kindness and humility would have been appropriate. The meal was very rice heavy, minimal vegetables, and no palate cleanse (sherbet) at the end. The proteins were standard for this style restaurant, and the chef was friendly but there was nothing particularly special or entertaining about the service. We made the best of our night, but we will not be coming back in the future. There are far too many options in the Myrtle Beach area! I would rather spend my money in an establishment that offers better value and appreciates its customers. I encourage you to do the same!
Eating is good. the personal is very friendly and nice to the customers. in the worst part they have no reservation system or a good way to track the waiting list to the summer system. our waiting time was more than 90 minutes and in the lobby more than 70 people waited for the table. another thing is that they do not have good exhaust or air conditioning for Hibachi tables. It's getting pretty hot.
If they are allergic to seafood, they do not eat here. even if the cook first prepared my food and we were the first table of the day, I still had an allergic reaction. it says it on the menu, but I was sure it was okay, and I wasn't. no reason for this restaurant! I help everyone else allergic people. the food was good, reis heavy, entertaining and pricy. good beer and bourbon selection at the bar. our chef and server were amazing. Apart from my trip to the immediate care, all the others in my family were satisfied.
My wife and I have eaten together with our 10-year-old twin girls recently in the frame of our first visit to myrtle beach at miyabi. After we had heard some positive reviews of a lot of sources regarding their food and eating experience as a whole, we decided to go on to see what was the whole thing. that said: here is what we have: arrival: pre-warning, miyabi is a very popular myrtle Beach Hunt, so they plan accordingly. because of the fact that this device does not accept any reservations, our first attempt earlier in the week had sent us by 8 o'clock and said that there was a 90-minute waiting time so that our losses in the night reduced. after the return on the following Monday (which we were theorized would be the least busy option as their sushi bar is closed on this day), we rolled at the doors by 5 o'clock. only be placed on a 45-minute waiting list directly from the tor. Since it is no longer important this time and was determined, we waited patiently the time limit before we were finally called. the greetings were polite, although they get a sense and feel how busy they are. that said, was greeted by a friendly host who let us sit in no time. very lively place, full of atmosphere, five stars here. meals: although exactly what we all ordered, comes from me at the moment, I remember my meal (teriyaki chicken/shrimp) extremely tasty and tasty. it was a few years since my last hibachi restaurant visit, and we are not disappointed. are they insured, they will not want for food, we all have home dog bags at the end! even our very discriminatory 10 years enjoyed everything. no trouble, just smile here. service: Chef john was nothing short of a spectacular showman and had thoroughly entertained us all. our girls wondered about his skills and were transfixed for the whole affair. they really had luck if they happen to have him on their table. Moreover, the hostess who checked for us was very friendly and attentive, never leave us long enough to miss or need something. five stars, both! value: yes, they buckle, the price tag can be steep, but our experience worth every dollar. at the end of the day, the value will always be subjective variable, and may vary from visit to visit, but if they outweigh the combination of eating and service that we receive, we felt like a victor running away. the bottom line: miyabi has a call that takes place as one of the unique restaurants while experiencing in myrtle beach, and we were glad that we had the opportunity to do this. but in an area where the tourism is king, they should be expecting and lowering to as much geduld as they can afford to come past the door. if they are able to confirm both, they will be rewarded with a fantastic novelty eating experience that will reward its visitors with something they will certainly remember. five stars, well made miyabi. kanpai!
We go here every time we are visiting Myrtle Beach. We are never disappointed. They no longer take reservations, but they are very efficient at getting people seated with very minimal wait. An employee came out into the parking lot before they even opened and started taking names and number of people in your party. We arrived at 4:20, were in the door by 4:27 and were on our way back out at 5:40. The food is good. The portions are large especially the rice. The chefs are very talented and entertaining. Service is fast and efficient and friendly. They allow you to share for an upcharge of about $8, which includes soup and salad for both people sharing. It's a good deal. There's still plenty to eat even when sharing.
